Crystallith

The main city. This city is teeming with life. It gets its name from the once crystal-rich environment. Over time, the mining of these crystals made them more scarce and harder to come by. For non-magic users, the crystals are nothing more than an adornment meant to symbolize status among the people. For magic users, the crystals hold a different meaning; they serve as a conduit, holding magical energies that the user can draw from to use more powerful spells that would normally come with physical and mental fatigue. To use the crystals, they must attune to it, imprinting their unique magical signature onto it, becoming the only one who can use said crystal. They are able to be passed down to family because the signatures would be similar enough to allow for a re-attunement, though it is a difficult process. Each crystal holds a different amount of energy relative to the size of the crystal. After use, it needs time to recharge the energy used. Crystallith is also home to the Arcane Nexus Seal, safeguarded by the Essence Keepers.

Aion Forest

Aion, meaning ‘eternity.’ The forest is vast and holds many mysteries within. Home to the seal of Dual Essence, the forest is rich with magical energy, altering some of the once common flora within, creating bioluminescent flowers and other plants that are changed with magic. The forest is also home to unusual fauna as well. Mystical beasts being born from the abundant magic held within. Upon entering the forest, one tends to find themselves lost fairly quickly, as a thick, dense fog permeates the air. Only those who have pure intentions seem to be able to navigate the forest. Though, most tales of this forest tell of those going in and never returning.
